MY HOLIDAYS IN ROME by ANTONIO OLMOS (A2)

I were in Rome in April 2006 with my family, my wife and my two daughters. The trip was by fly, from Valencia to Barcelona and from Barcelona to Rome in airport Fiumichino. It was a fantastic trip. The weather was good and we had a good time.
We were one week.

One day, we went from Rome to Florence by train with return tikets, all day fron 6:oo am. to 23:30 pm. We visited the statue of David by Miguel Angel, the cathedral and the museum “Degli uffici”. In Rome, we were in a hotel, the place was great.
We didn’t eat in hotel , we went out every day at the typical Italian restaurants in the trastevere.

In morning we visited every day many typical monuments and in the evening we sightseeings the city. The trip was quiet expensive. my wife and my daughters brought many bags. In the Sunday we were to the Vaticano square at the first celebration of the Benedicto XVI Pope.Happened, that day was the birthday of the Pope.
I recomended to go Rome, is fantastic
