As you must know, Spain is getting ready for a nationwide education strike tomorrow (24th OCTOBER). LOOK AT THE PICTURE. WHAT´S HAPPENING? THIS WOMAN WANTS SOMETHING FROM HER HUSBAND. WHAT IS IT? CAN YOU WRITE A POLITE REQUEST?
It’s important to be polite when you ask for something.
Making a Request:
- Can you ……?
- Can I……..?
- Could you…?
- I´d like……………, please.
Responding to a request:
- Sure here you are
- Of course! Here you are
- No, I’m sorry I need it
- I’m afraid I can’t.
