  1. Of course, one of my 80’s prefered films “BACK TO THE FUTURE” with Michael J. Fox, in the second part it shows us a different version of the year 2015 in which we travel in flying cars and we dress smart jackets and shoes. A very funny film

    • Thank you and I’m sorry for my Spanglish, I really like science fiction films, I remember too “BLADE RUNNER” another classic with the well known actor Harrison Ford, it takes place in year 2019 in a dark future where humans have created cyborgs to do the worst jobs.

  3. I remember a film called Gattaca where your opportunities in life depend on your DNA. It´s an old film with actors like Ethan Hawke or Jude Law and with a young Uma Thurma. I think it´s a very recommendable film.

  4. I´ve never heard of it! I´ll do some research…..

  5. What about ‘Demolition man’ (1993)? People living in a non-violent society must be saved when a condemned criminal (Wesley Snipes) is unfrozen. What did they do? They defrosted the cop (Sylvester Stallone) who took him to prison in the 90’s. Don’t waste two hours of your live watching it!.

But there are films set in the future with happy ending. For example ‘Wall-E’ (2008). It’s true that humans filled the Earth up with rubbish and they eradicated life, that’s why they had to live inside spaceships served by robots. But finally life returned to the Earth and they came back… with the lesson learned (hopefully).
