LOOK AT THESE PHOTOS . UNFORTUNATELY THEY HAVE BEEN RECENTLY PUBLISHED IN DIFFERENT NEWSPAPERS WORLDWIDE…..

Why don´t you post a decription of one of these photos?

Use the clues in the photos to make as many guesses as you can about the people: what country are they  in?, where and when was the photo taken?, how old are they?,where are they?, what are they doing?, are they alone?, why?, how are they feeling? etc….etc…

REMEMBER TO USE: suitable vocabulary for describing people ( UNIT 8)

suitable expressions for making present/ past deductions (UNIT 8)

“They must be… They  can´t be…”

“ They could // may //might be…..”

“It looks as if…”, “They  look…”, They look like (a) + noun…..”

“They seem to be…”, “They  appear to be…”

“I get the impression that they…”  etc…
